How will study abroad help you achieve your academic, professional, and personal goals?

IES aims to provide students with the highest quality academic and cultural experience abroad that is possible. Courses are taught by world-class professors and are offered at a prestigious local university to offer new perspectives and learning environments.

You will take between 15 and 19 credits a semester, and all courses are worth three credits, except for the French language course, which is four credits.

All students on this program are be required to take a French language course. The program begins with one week of intensive language classes. Then, you continue your language instruction for the remainder of the semester. Beginning through advanced levels are available.

In addition to courses offered by IES, you may consider direct enrollment courses at the Paris School of Business (PSB). This is a great way to increase the immersion factor, while still learning in the English language.

Additionally, there are part-time English-speaking internships. Internships have previously been in communications, marketing, publishing and human resources.

International Business majors at the Wisconsin School of Business are required to study abroad for a semester in their Region of Emphasis. This semester program satisfies that requirement for Western Europe.
