University College Dublin Summer Internship

A narrow wooden bridge hangs between two rocky cliffs, overlooking the turquoise water below.

The University College Dublin Summer Internship will not be offered in Summer 2026.

Ireland, Dublin

Spend your summer earning academic credit and interning at a business in Dublin through the Dublin Summer Internship program with University College Dublin!

This program allows you to fine-tune your communication skills and develop practical professional skills. Part of the thrill of an internship abroad will be discovering the cultural differences that lie between you and your co-workers and how you relate to each other. After a 2-week orientation and academic period, you will spend the remaining six weeks interning at a Dublin company in the heart of Ireland's capital. As the economic center of Ireland, interning in Dublin will give you the chance to learn first-hand how the Irish economy functions within Europe and globally. As well as hosting the headquarters of many international companies, Dublin is also known for the beautiful River Liffey, a long history of literature and culture (being the birthplace of authors such as James Joyce and Oscar Wilde), and historic landmarks.
