Ireland, Dublin

Take a course that dives into Ireland's International Business environment, explore the beautiful capital of Ireland, and study traditional business courses at one of Europe’s most prestigious business schools at University College Dublin’s Quinn School of Business! Quinn School of Business is the leading undergraduate business school in Ireland, combining the excitement of university life with one of the most progressive education programs in the world. In recent years, Quinn School has grown its connections with the international university network; about 15% of the student population each semester is comprised of visiting or exchange students like yourself from around the world.

Situated just south of the city center, UCD’s ideally-located campus allows you to experience everything Dublin has to offer. From walks along the River Liffey to perusing a copy of Ulysses (written by native Dubliner James Joyce) at an antique bookstore, Dublin is a stunning city, packed with old monuments, culture, and traditions. However, don’t think that Dublin’s cobblestoned streets only offer history: companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, PayPal, and more have all chosen to build European headquarters in the Irish capital.

How will study abroad help you achieve your academic, professional, and personal goals?

Curriculum at UCD is similar to UW Madison. Business courses are taught by a series of formal lectures with a strong emphasis on coursework outside of class, including individual project work, group projects, and class presentations. You will select courses of interest from a business course offer that aligns well with the business courses WSB students are seeking.

International Business majors at the Wisconsin School of Business are required to study abroad for a semester in their Region of Emphasis. This semester program satisfies that requirement for Western Europe.
