As the third largest city in Australia holding nearly 2 million citizens, Brisbane is a city filled with music and culture. Due to its growing live music scene and close proximity to the beach, Brisbane has become one of Australia's most desirable places to live. Beautiful riverside parks, a packed schedule of cultural and art events, and a prosperous and cosmopolitan atmosphere make Brisbane an excellent city to enjoy a semester or year abroad!

Eligibility

  • Open to UW Madison degree-seeking Engineering students in good academic standing. Students must be admitted into their specific major (i.e.: ME, CEE, etc.), but cannot study abroad in their last two semesters. Special permission may be granted to study abroad in second to last semester (see IESP for details).
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • If English is not your first language, please contact international@engr.wisc.edu for supplemental information that may be required to submit with your application.
  • Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Open to UW-Madison degree-seeking students only
  • Good academic and disciplinary standing
  • At the time of application and the semester prior to participation, UW-Madison students must be currently enrolled. Transfer Students to UW-Madison need to be currently enrolled at their home institution
