Studying abroad in Thailand was the best decision.  -Alyssa B.

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) offers courses in a wide range of subjects, including Thai studies and South Asian studies. All MUIC courses, other than Thai language courses, are taught in English. Mahidol runs on a trimester schedule, which means that Spring students can enroll for courses in two separate trimesters, and Academic Year students will enroll in courses in all three trimesters.

Note that exchange students cannot enroll in Nursing Science Program courses, research project courses (in science fields), and internships. Additionally, not all courses listed in the course catalog are offered every term, and exchange students may need the approval from program directors to register for classes that require prerequisite courses.

Students will select a primary field of study for their exchange at MUIC:
Applied Mathematics
Biological Sciences
Business Economics*
Chemistry
Communication Design*
Computer Engineering*
Computer Science
Finance*
Food Science and Technology
Intercultural Studies and Languages
International Business*
International Relations and Global Affairs
Marketing*
Media and Communication*
Physics
Travel and Service Business Entrepreneurship

*These fields of study have limited course availability to exchange students which may not be sufficient for all student requests.

A school uniform is required for students attending Mahidol University. This is very common for Thai students. The uniform materials can be bought once you are on-site, or parts of the uniform can be brought with you to Thailand if you prefer. Learn more here.
